French Speaking E-Learning Marketing Intern
IDLO seeks a French speaking E-Learning Marketing Intern to work at its Headquarters in Rome, Italy.
This is a five (5) month internship and is non remunerated.
Under the supervision of the E-Learning Project Manager, the Intern will be expected to:
• Carry out market research for IDLO’s e-learning courses;
• Assist in the development of suitable promotional strategies and techniques to reach candidates for
IDLO’s e-learning courses in French;
• Promote IDLO’s e-learning courses (through the World Wide Web, and by mail, fax, and e-mail)
after discussion with the E-learning Project Manager;
• Develop (through research and other channels) new contacts in the public and private sector in
collaboration with IDLO Alumni Associations when feasible;
• Generate letters/faxes for mass brochure mailings to prospective candidates for IDLO’s e-learning
courses, including thank you and follow-up letters;
• Prepare correspondence to candidates in French;
• Provide administrative support to the E-learning Project Manager; and
• Prepare marketing agendas, invitations, registration forms, and payment tracking for IDLO elearning
courses.
Requirements and How to Apply
IDLO seeks a French speaking E-Learning Marketing Intern who is self-motivated, innovative, and highly
creative, with excellent follow-up skills. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to effectively
present information, respond to questions from groups and candidates, and interact with public and private
sector organizations. She/He should be comfortable working independently and have the ability to work in
harmony with people of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
The ideal candidate should have a background in Marketing or Public Relations, outstanding computer
skills, and excellent speaking and writing skills in French.
